Bharti Center for Communication, IIT Bombay

Set up in a partnership between Bharti Airtel Foundation and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, the Bharti Centre for Communication was inaugurated in January 2009 by Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Bharti Enterprises. It promotes research in communication theory and systems, and fosters technical collaboration between the research and user groups.

The centre houses state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure enabling a quality research environment for communication theory, practice, and application, and attracts the best faculty and students. The centre will also support deserving students with fellowships and scholarships.
