Bharti Centre for Entrepreneurial Development

The Bharti Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives (BCEI) is a joint initiative of Bharti Airtel Foundation and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) since 2002. The centre takes up a host of activities to develop, facilitate and motivate entrepreneurs and to sensitise the society at large and youth in particular for entrepreneurship.

The centre presents the Bharti Student of the Year Award and the Bharti Entrepreneur of the Year Award yearly, for overall academic performance and the significance of entrepreneurship training, respectively. Two Bharti Fellowships were also awarded by the centre to motivate students to pursue entrepreneurship training without financial barriers.
