Bharti Library and Activity Centres

The Bharti Library and Activity Centres (BLACs) were launched in 2005 and are self-sustained library units, set up to help inculcate in children the ability to read, write and enjoy learning through reading. By partnering with organisations like Pratham, Kalakar Trust, and Shanti Sadhna Ashram, 104 BLACs are functional across 11 states in the country.

These centres promote education for children through novel and interesting means like reading and undertaking learning projects and activities.
