Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology & Management, IIT Delhi

Set up in a partnership between Bharti Airtel Foundation and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, at their campus, the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology & Management’s vision is to ‘develop telecom leaders through excellence in education and research’. It has steadily emerged as a premier institute in developing ‘Young Telecom Leaders’, that will make India a telecom superpower.


The Airtel IIT Delhi Centre of Excellence in Telecommunications (AICET) at IIT Delhi was launched in December 2007. It came into existence with a tri-partite MoU between the Department of Telecommunication, Government of India, IIT Delhi, and Bharti Airtel Ltd., during the India Telecom 2008 inauguration ceremony, presided over by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The AICET focuses on ‘Telecom Technology and Management’ with global excellence standards, and covers a broad spectrum of topics including existing and emerging technologies, growth prediction and technology adaptation in India’s context, application development using multiple technologies, etc.
