Mid-day Meal Program

Bharti Airtel Foundation partnered with Akshaya Patra Foundation in 2003 to set up a state-of-the-art kitchen in Vrindavan to provide mid-day meals to underprivileged children in government schools. The program has played a crucial role in promoting education for children in the country, encouraging children to attend school and partake of nutritious meals. Besides increased attendance, this also contributed towards meeting children’s nutritional needs.
